As we set off on our journey to opening our new hospital, we are keen to understand what is important to our local people, visitors and patients. We created a quick poll to help us find out more.
Nearly 70% of people ranked clinical care as the most important factor from a choice of four areas, including: clinical care, modern technology and equipment, outside space, and location and transport. Modern technology and equipment came second.
Quality clinical care is our highest priority in planning for our new hospital and our clinical teams are at the heart of the design and planning phase. We have 11 clinical lead champions from across the hospital who engage and support us with key issues in the development of our new ‘models of care’. Together, we are working to deliver the best patient care and experience possible.
